Linda and I chose a half day tour. We were picked up from the reception of our caravan park right on time. Our first impressions were what a fabulously friendly tour guide. We had a fabulous afternoon and we’re taking to places which we would’ve never known even existed. And all with the guidance of a very knowledgeable local tour guide Jan. And I must say, we’re also very surprised at how comfortable the tour vehicle was. We were even provided with blankets in case we were cold, that is what I would call going above and beyond. All in all it was a fabulous day and Jan showed us places that were not even on the itinerary. So I guess you could say she promised a lot and over delivered. This is a tour I would recommend to anybody.

Jan has picked up my Mum on numerous occasions and taken her on a wonderful food safari in the south of WA. Picnics by the river, sampling fresh produce along the way and spending the day having wonderful conversation with Jan and farmers along the way. Highly recommend Forage Safaris

Jan is knowledgeable about the area and passionate about all the local producers who provide an abundance of edible products. We were driven around in comfort visiting farms off the beaten track where tourists may not get to go. Jan also stopped at farm stalls along the way where we could purchase local foods - it was great to be able to support local! Our tastings were excellent at all three stops, ending by sampling wines and gins alongside a beautifully displayed platter of cheeses meats and fruits. We would definitely do it again and choose new stops to experience more of the local hospitality, food and drinks! Congrats, Jan, on a great new experience in the Busso area!

We have travelled fairly extensively and stumbled across Jan and her tour. Jan was great and her vehicle was spacious and comfortable. Words cannot describe our feelings as to how much we enjoyed touring apple orchards, chicken farms, a chestnut orchard and marron ponds. We met such interesting, decent and honest hard working people who were willing to share their knowledge and experiences of farming. The boxed lunch was also first class. As you can gather I highly recommend taking this tour.

What a lovely surprise our day with Forage Safari’s, was! I had no idea what to expect and ended up having the best day ever! Jan is so accommodating and the farms, wineries and gin-tasting experiences we had were brilliant - it was relaxed with great locations and the picnic lunch was a treat 😋 Would absolutely recommend this - will be back for more!

Fantastic tour. Jan know so much about the area . The vehicle is very comfortable . She caters to all your dietary needs. The Farmers are so friendly I loved the chickens !!! Looking forward to the next one.

Jan took a group of four of us on a private tour where we went to two different farms and a winery (that happened to be closed on the day we went, but this just meant that we had a private tasting!) Jan is just the most accommodating, friendly and knowledgeable person. She asked us what kind of tour we were looking for a few weeks before we went, and she delivered 110% on everything. I would definitely go on a Forage Safari again and I recommend it to anyone looking to have a unique and local experience in the South West.
