Our Nature
Bound by river, wetlands and sea, the natural environment is beautifully diverse. Busselton’s coast, situated along Geographe Bay, acts as a nursery for marine life, including humpback whales, dolphins and seals, while its wetlands, rivers and forest are home to endangered ringtail possums, bandicoots, exceptional birdlife and beautiful wildflowers found nowhere else on earth.

Our History
Busselton’s connection to the past is written in the land, and a city that continues to prosper and grow. Wadandi songlines have been sung for millennia, and continue to be expressed at historical sites, cultural events and through public art, while European settlement can be traced through generations of families, some of whom still call Busselton home.
